CMA certification introduction:

CMA, the abbreviation of "China Metrology Accreditation". According to the provisions of Article 22 of the Metrology Law of the People's Republic of China: "Product quality inspection institutions that provide notarized data to the society must pass the assessment of their metrological verification and testing capabilities and reliability by the metrological administrative departments of the people's governments at or above the provincial level." Therefore, all product quality supervision and inspection institutions and other laboratories that provide fair data to the society must obtain the Chinese metrological certification, namely CMA certification. Only the testing institutions that have obtained the metrological certification can be engaged in testing and inspection, and are allowed to use CMA marks on the inspection report. The inspection report marked with CMA can be used for product quality evaluation, achievements and judicial appraisal, and has legal effect. Therefore, we must find a CMA qualified agency to find a testing agency, otherwise, the testing results have no legal effect.

Basic content of CMA certification (metrological certification) standard:

1. CMA is the abbreviation of China Metrology Accreditation. The testing institution that has obtained the qualification certificate of laboratory qualification (metrological certification) can use the CMA mark on the testing (testing, testing) certificate and report according to the items listed in the certificate.

2. In 2001, the State promulgated the Evaluation Criteria for Metrological Certification/Review and Accreditation (Acceptance) (Trial), which was implemented on December 1 of the same year and the original evaluation criteria JJG1021-90 was repealed. At present, the evaluation system followed by the metrological certification is the Laboratory Qualification Accreditation Criteria, which also supplements the provisions of China's metrological legal management.

3. Laboratory qualification certification (metrological certification) is implemented in two levels. One is national level, which is organized and implemented by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China; The other is provincial level, which is organized and implemented by the provincial quality and technology supervision bureau, and the specific work is undertaken by the Metrology Certification Office (Metrology Division). Whether it is national or provincial, the effectiveness of implementation is completely consistent. Whether it is national or provincial certification, it is legally effective for the certified testing institutions nationwide, and there is no difference in the effectiveness of different departments.

4. According to the regulations on the administration of metrological certification, the data issued by the testing institutions that have passed the metrological certification, used for trade certification, product quality evaluation and achievement appraisal, have legal effect as notarized data. It is illegal for technical institutions without metrological certification to provide notarized data for the society, and those who break the law must be prosecuted.

5. The testing institutions that have passed the metrological certification in China have covered agriculture, fishery, forestry, machinery, post and telecommunications, chemical industry, light industry, electrician, metallurgy, geology, transportation, urban construction and environmental protection, safety protection, water conservancy and other industries and departments, and have opened a relatively complete range of testing categories.
